Wow! It's really starting to get cold here. 65* and I'm freezing already.. :)
Thanks for all the posts to my blog. Denise, Mom, Dad, Nadia, Maya, Connie, etc.
I've been really slacking at writing e-mail's and keeping up with my blog these last couple of weeks. I just got the new Civ game in the mail, and I've been working on it quite faithfully.. :)
Titus and Mia's blog is so cool. They seem to be just having so much fun there in Japan. Sometimes I wish... but, then I reallize I can't be everywhere at once. And if I had any choice of where i really wanted to be. It'd have to be a nice little beach town in the Mediteranian with all my friends and family I haven't seen in so long... That'd be the life...
But I guess I have to settle for cheap thrills right now. Like something I did recently was an Air Assault mission in a Blackhawk.. Loads of fun and from my seat I got the best veiw. I was right at the edge of the chopper in the middle row with the side doors both open, (if you can't picture it that's fine I'll explain it later I'm sure) And when I got off I fell smack in a hole and faceplanted in the dirt :D It was at night of course and my Night vision goggles aren't the best so hence "not my fault". Let me also mention the whole thing was scary as hell. I thought I'd fall out of my seat belt and to the ground.. (could just be I'm scared of heights.) Of course just for Mom's comfort.. It is in reality one of the safest ways to travel over here.
However, that was also the day i was supposed to be getting out of the Army on.. So I thought about it for a bit, didn't get majorly depressed or nothing just a bit detatched for a bit and spent a bit of Dinero on stuff I could have done without.. (bad habit and I need to stop it..)
Anyhow, Happy Birthday Mom. And to Kiona also. H0pe you have a good year ahead of you, Lots of Fun, and that all you aspire to do works out for you.
Oh one more thing.. What is it with the girls in our family and Photography.. They're all good at it, and I get yelled at every time I try to take pictures cause they're "so Horrible" :p

I don't know why we all love photography. Maybe it has something to do with all there is to "capture" on film and remember. We love our happy moments. Check out Pabs site. That's good. Anyhow, I have only seen 1 of yours from there. Didn't Maya send you some disposables and if I remember, the Army ships the cameras back home for free. Click away!
If you were here, my birthday would be an extremly happy day.
Miss you and love you.
Ah, those stinkers keeping you in the army past your anniversary. I'm praying for you though and hope you get to come home sooner than expected, happy, healthy and ready for real life. :) love ya
